CARING FOR YOUR CUSHIONS:

Here at EB & FLO, we pride ourselves on making the perfect quality cushions for you and your space. We believe that caring for cushions once they are in the hands of our customers is paramount and just as important as the care, we put into making them. We want you to get the most wear and life out of our product and enjoy them year-round. We have put together a ’care for your cushion’ page to help continue our customer care and satisfaction. Each cushion has a care label inside of it, please check this label to help you get the most out of your cushion .

100% Hemp cushions:

We recommend hand washing the cushions separately, but a cool gentle Machine wash is also acceptable with like colours. Use an earth-friendly and gentle detergent to wash. Take care not to wash with garments with zippers, Velcro or towels with texture as this will cause abrasion and pilling. Do not use bleach or other use cleaners like oxi-clean or products with enzymes. Do not use spot spray or use laundry cleaners. Lay the cushion cover flat or line dry, but do not expose to direct sunlight as this could cause fading. A warm iron or steam is recommended to iron out creases.

Cushions with Jute Fringing:

Jute Fibre is known as the “Golden fibre”  for its natural golden colour and its importance as a sustainable crop and fibre. Water weakens the fibres and causes breakdown of the twine structure. It is recommended the hemp and denim cushions with the Jute fringing, are spot cleaned only with warm soapy water and a damp cloth. Lay the cushion cover flat or line dry, but do not expose to direct sunlight as this could cause fading. A warm iron or steam is recommended to iron out creases on the fabric. A dry iron with no steam can be used on the Jute.

Upcycled Cotton and Denim cushions:

At Eb and Flo Interiors – Homewares we use materials that are sourced and made from recycled and eco-friendly materials. We believe in being good stewards of what we have been given, limiting further drawing on new resources. We look to engage suppliers that have similar principles to ourselves, practicing sustainability and limiting resource use with minimal environmental impact.

We adhere to safe and good work practices for staff members to have a clean, safe workplace(s) with a healthy environment and fair wages. A place with fair working conditions, where everyone is treated respectfully. We use clean energy for our facilities. Our goal is having processes in place that limit waste on excess manufacturing materials, clean energy usage in our facilities and aim to minimize CO2 emissions.

Our products are packaged with environmental recycled and bio-degradable materials. Eb and Flo products are delivered in a way that minimizes the environmental impact, promoting the entire value chain, ensuring all processes are anchored in sustainable economics. Our supply chains comply with recognized national and international social and environmental standards and our suppliers are aware of and support our sustainability objectives.

Dispatch

Orders that are received and processed by us before 1:00pm each business day (QLD time) will be dispatched within 1-3 business days from the warehouse. From time to time, the estimated dispatch time frame may exceed our usual stated dispatch/delivery window for reasons outside of our control. If there is an unforeseen delay, we will be in contact to advise on dispatch update.

Orders received and processed by us on Friday after 1.00pm or on weekend days will be processed for dispatch on the following business day. If an order comes in on a public holiday it will be processed the following business day following dispatch thereafter. In some cases, the estimated dispatch time frame will be longer, for example where large orders are received.

Please note that once your order has been dispatched you will receive confirmation of dispatch and a tracking number via the freight company. Once the package has been dispatched some delays may occur and are not in our control. You will need to then contact the freight company directly to track you package(s). Please allow between 2-12 business days for delivery.

Note: For the purposes of these Terms, "business days" means a business day in the relevant State of Queensland where the order will be dispatched, unless stated otherwise.

Deliveries

On checkout, ensure you have entered your CORRECT delivery address carefully with accompanying direction on where to safely leave the delivery.

We have selected reliable transport companies to deliver your new purchase. Please note courier/delivery company’s do not deliver upstairs or up to apartments. Packages will be left at the designated delivery area for your complex or apartment building. We do not deliver to P.O box addresses.

Where delivery information is submitted and incorrect, the purchaser of the product(s) will be responsible for any additional costs associated in redelivery and or redirecting your goods and/or lost merchandise.
